We want to extend an invitation to you and your band to join us on October 9th, 2010 for the 23rd Annual DeSoto Marching Classic Competition held here at Desoto High School.  The Classic is a contest rich in tradition where bands compete with other fine band programs from across the DFW area and beyond.  We are working hard to make 2010 our best Classic ever. Please consider our invitation to join The Classic lineup. We offer an outstanding two level stadium complete with a synthetic grass field, video screen, and an outstanding press box for professional video/audio recording.   Not to mention, you and your band will get professional service provided by our band boosters and band staff.


We have placed a strong emphasis on the following areas:

·         High level, informative judging
·         Opportunity for percussion and guard to perform an additional time to receive immediate and informative critique from a qualified judge
